Who is Elegant Excursions?

Elegant Excursions is a highly experienced service company offering excursions, in addition to our own excursions, we also offer excursions and entry tickets from other providers (theme parks, boat trips and car rental). We are passionately committed to a high level of care, quality and satisfaction of the needs of our guests.


How can I make a reservation?

Once you have selected your language, enter the reservation details:

  • Hotel
  • Date
  • Number of adults and children

What is the age of a child?

This depends on the excursion you choose, each excursion tells you clearly what age is considered to be a child.

How can I pay?

Once you have confirmed your tour, you will be taken to the payment page where you enter your credit card details. If you prefer a different payment method, please contact us by email.

What happens if I have completed my reservation and made the payment?

Your e-ticket / electronic ticket will be sent by e-mail to your e-mail address, please print it and present it as proof that you have booked. The ticket also states where and at what time you will be picked up for the excursion.

How do I know if my reservation has been accepted?

Our website is very easy to use with simple steps and instructions to follow. Once you have made your payment, your reservation will be immediately confirmed by our web page. When you have completed this last phase, you can check your email where you will receive your electronic ticket with the reservation number.

What is an electronic ticket?

This is a ticket issued by our webpage where you can find all your reservation details, number of persons, date, hotel and other relevant details. You will be asked to present this on the day of the excursion.

Can I change the date of my reservation?

This is on request, please send us an email with your reservation number, info@elegant-excursions.com requesting to change the date and we will let you know if this is possible, it will depend on the availability and the provider.

What can I do if I don't have a printer to print my electronic ticket?

For some excursions digital tickets are also accepted, but this doesn’t apply for the entry tickets. In case of problems with your ticket, we recommend that you send us an email or contact us by phone (+34 922 73 96 60)

What should I do if I have not received an e-ticket?

If you do not receive an email with your ticket, this normally means that your reservation has not been completed or accepted. In the exceptional circumstance that the payment has been made and you have not yet received your e-ticket, you can contact us by email (info@elegant-excursions.com or by phone (+34 922 73 96 60).

Do you have a discount for groups?

This is on request, if you are with 10 people or more, you can send us an email, info@elegant-excursions.com  with the dates and where you are staying here in Tenerife, we will respond as soon as possible.

Why do I have to inform you with my phone number to make a reservation?

This is optional, but we recommend it in case of delays or incidents on the day of the tour, so we can contact you to inform you.

Can I cancel a reservation?

We are aware that plans can sometimes change due to unforeseen circumstances. Therefore, we accept cancellations of excursions and offer you a full refund (in some cases the credit card company will charge commission costs, so you won’t receive the full amount), with no cancellation fees up to 48 hours before the excursion. In this case, send us an email with your ticket number and the payment will be refunded to your account.

Please be aware that entry tickets can never be refunded!!


How do I know where I will be picked up and what time?

After you have made your reservation, we will send this information by e-mail to your email address, we recommend that you arrive at the pick up point ten minutes before the pick up time.

Do the excursions end at the same place as the departure point?

Yes, they will return to the same place where you were picked up. If the customer is interested in being dropped off at a different pickup point, always inform us and if this is possible, this will be arranged for you. You only need to inform the guide.

Where do you pick up the customers?

We have many pick up points and the schedules depend on the day, the area and the tour. We always make sure that the pick up point is close to the place where you are staying and easy to find. The pick up point will appear in the email after you have made the reservation. If you click on this, a map will appear showing you where the pick up point is regarding your hotel or address. If you are unsure about the exact location, do not hesitate to send us an email to clarify the location of the pick-up, to avoid any problems on the day itself.

Do you offer excursions in different languages?

We offer excursions in different languages, but Teide by Night tour is always offered in 1 language only per coach.

What kind of clothing do you recommend?

We recommend that you bring different layers of clothes and comfortable shoes, the island could have different weather types in one day, so it can be completely different in the north as in the south, also in the mountains the weather can change quickly.

Are the meals included in the excursions?

This depends on which excursion you book, each excursion tells you what is included and what is not included on our website.

Can we book seats on the bus?

No, our guests will sit in order of arrival. Of course we can indicate a preference for the front seats for people with disabilities or with mobility problems.

Can people with disabilities or mobility problems join the excursion?

Depends on which excursion or activity you book, each excursion or activity has a disability notice which tells you what the requirements are. Please note that surfaces can be uneven visiting other parts of the island.

Are there toilets on the bus?

The bus is not equipped with a toilet, but in general there are enough toilet stops being made while touring the island.

Are the buses equipped with child seats?

No, child seats are not available in the bus

What happens if an excursion or activity is cancelled or rescheduled?

In the rare event that we have to cancel a tour, we will notify you as soon as possible, depending on the provider and availability we can reschedule it.


How can I pay?

You can pay with Visa, Mastercard, Visa payment cards, Paypal and Stripe.

Is your site secured?

Yes. For security when you make your booking, your data is transferred using the industry standard 128 bit SSL (secure socket layer) encryption. You must use a browser that is compatible with SSL, most (modern) browsers are compatible.

What is the company name that will appear on my credit card statement?

Payments to us will appear on your card statements as: Elegant Excursions S.L.U. which is the name of the company that owns this website. Please note, making a booking with a provider (theme parks, boat trips and car rental) it is possible the name of the provider will appear on your card statement.

What can I do if I have problems paying with a credit card?

If you have problems making the payment, this can be for several reasons. These are the most common reasons:

  • Some information may be missing or be incorrect, such as CVV security code, expiration date … Please check your details provided on the payment page and try again.
  • Maybe it is a credit card that is not accepted by our payment site. We accept Mastercard, Visa and Visa debit cards.
  • The name of the credit card holder does not match the name known with the credit card company.
  • Your account does not have sufficient balance
  • Sometimes banks prevent a payment from being made when it appears that unusual activities take place on the account. Before contacting us, check with your bank and they will tell you if this is the case. They will lift the block at your request and enable you to make the transaction.

Is there a fixed spot to watch the sunset and the stargazing?

No, our guides always decide on the day itself, what is the best spot for the sunset and for stargazing that evening.

Can we sit down while stargazing?

That depends where we stop, sometimes there are small walls to sit on, but there are spots where there is no possibility to sit down. Please note that surfaces can be uneven.

Is there time to go to the highest peak of the volcano during the excursion?

No, we do not take the cable car during the excursion and you do not have time to use the cable car.

Does the Teide by Night involve any walking?

No, there is no walking involved if you prefer not to. There are many stops made on the way up to Mt.Teide, sometimes you will have free time to have a stroll around, but you could also stay near the bus, whatever you prefer.

Which temperature can i expect during the stargazing?

Please notice that the temperatures can change fast at an altitude of 2300 meters, even more at the moment of the stargazing. We therefore recommend to take warm clothing
